The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The Taramps TS 400X4 is a compact 4-channel amplifier designed for a wide range of car audio applications. With a total output of 400 watts RMS at 2 ohms, it provides four separate channels, each delivering 100 watts RMS, making it ideal for powering front and rear speakers, component systems, coaxial speakers, or other full-range speakers.

Thanks to its Class D technology, the TS 400X4 combines a compact design with high output power. This allows the amplifier to be installed even in locations where space is limited.

For higher-power applications, two channels can be bridged at a time. In bridge mode, the amplifier delivers 2 x 200 watts RMS into 4 ohms, allowing you to power higher-output speakers or smaller subwoofers, for example.

The TS 400X4 features built-in high-pass and low-pass filters to adapt to different speakers. The crossover switch allows you to select between HPF, full-range, and LPF. The HPF and LPF operate at a fixed crossover frequency of 90 Hz.
