The Taramps TL 500 is an exceptionally compact 2-channel amplifier designed to upgrade existing car audio systems. With a total output of 90 watts RMS, it delivers 2 x 45 watts RMS at 2 ohms, making it particularly well-suited for driving door speakers and smaller speaker systems.

Thanks to its very compact size, the TL 500 can be installed even in spaces where there is hardly any room for a traditional car audio amplifier. Class-D technology enables efficient operation with comparatively low power consumption.

One unique feature is the integrated A.R.T. (Automatic Remote Turn-On) system. The amplifier detects an incoming audio signal and turns itself on automatically. This makes the TL 500 particularly well-suited for integration into factory-installed audio systems where no separate remote signal is available. According to the manufacturer, once the audio signal is lost, the amplifier remains on for about 30 seconds and then automatically turns off.
