The Taramps THE BIG BOSS 8 BASS is a powerful 1-channel monoblock amplifier designed specifically for high-performance subwoofer systems and performance-oriented car audio installations. With up to 8,000 watts RMS, the amplifier offers enormous power reserves for powerful and punchy bass reproduction.
A unique feature of THE BIG BOSS 8 BASS is its automatic multi-impedance technology. The amplifier can operate within a load range of 0.5 to 2 ohms while delivering its full rated power of 8,000 watts RMS. This makes the monoblock particularly versatile for use with various subwoofer configurations.
A variable high-pass filter ranging from 8 to 30 Hz and a variable low-pass filter ranging from 60 to 200 Hz are available for precise tuning of the bass range. In addition, the adjustable bass boost allows for a boost of up to +10 dB, and its cutoff frequency can also be adjusted between 35 and 55 Hz.
In addition to its high output power, THE BIG BOSS 8 BASS features built-in RGB lighting with 108 different effects. The lighting can react to the music, making the amplifier a real eye-catcher—even when it’s part of a visible stage setup.
To protect the amplifier and connected components under heavy load, the THE BIG BOSS 8 BASS features protection circuits against output short circuits, under- or over-voltage, and overheating.
