The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The Taramps THE BIG BOSS 5 BASS is a high-performance mono amplifier designed specifically for demanding subwoofer applications. With an output power of up to 5,000 watts RMS, this power amplifier offers enormous power reserves for high-performance bass and SPL systems.

One standout feature is the automatic multi-impedance technology. The amplifier can operate within a load range of 0.5 to 2 ohms, delivering up to 5,000 watts RMS. This allows for a wide variety of subwoofer configurations without having to use a separate amplifier model for each impedance.

To adapt to the subwoofer system, the THE BIG BOSS 5 BASS features a variable high-pass filter ranging from 8 to 30 Hz and a variable low-pass filter ranging from 60 to 200 Hz. In addition, a bass boost with an adjustable frequency between 35 and 55 Hz and a boost of up to +10 dB is available.

In addition to its high output power, the amplifier features built-in RGB lighting with 108 different LED effects. The lighting can display different colors and effects in sync with the music, making the amplifier an attractive option for visible show installations.
