The Taramps SMART 3 BASS is a high-performance mono amplifier designed specifically to drive powerful subwoofers. With an output power of up to 3,000 watts RMS, it is suitable for both powerful everyday systems and demanding bass and SPL setups.

A key feature is the Power Control System used by Taramps. This allows the SMART 3 BASS to operate across a wide impedance range of 0.5 to 2 ohms and deliver its full rated power of 3,000 watts RMS within this range. This allows the amplifier to be combined with a wide variety of subwoofer and voice coil configurations with exceptional flexibility.

The frequency response, tuned for the bass range from 8 to 200 Hz, is supplemented by variable high- and low-pass filters. The built-in bass boost also allows you to specifically boost the range between 35 and 60 Hz by up to +10 dB. This provides extensive adjustment options for tuning the amplifier to the subwoofer, enclosure, and vehicle.

To ensure a reliable power supply, the SMART 3 BASS features a generously sized power connection for cables up to 50 mm². Various protective circuits monitor, among other things, temperature, supply voltage, and short circuits at the output. Despite its high output power, the enclosure remains comparatively compact at just 238 × 71 × 240 mm.
