The Taramps DS 800X2 is a powerful and compact 2-channel amplifier designed for a wide range of car audio applications. With a total output of up to 800 watts RMS, this power amplifier is suitable for driving powerful speaker systems as well as for midrange, tweeter, or subwoofer applications.

As a full-range Class-D amplifier, the DS 800X2 covers a wide frequency range from 10 Hz to 22 kHz. It delivers 400 watts RMS per channel at 2 ohms. For applications requiring higher power, both channels can be bridged—in this configuration, the amplifier delivers 800 watts RMS at 4 ohms.

To allow for flexible adaptation to the connected speaker system, the DS 800X2 features a variable high-pass filter ranging from 80 Hz to 2.2 kHz, as well as a fixed low-pass filter set at 80 Hz. This allows the power amplifier to be configured specifically for midbass, midrange, or tweeter speakers, as well as for low-frequency applications, for example.

Thanks to Class D technology, the Taramps DS 800X2 combines high output power with compact dimensions, making it particularly well-suited for installations where space is limited.
