Taramps DS 2000X4

The Taramps DS 2000X4 is a high-performance 4-channel amplifier designed for car audio systems that require a combination of high output power and flexible connection options. With a total of 2,000 watts RMS at 2 ohms, the amplifier delivers up to 500 watts RMS per channel, making it suitable even for demanding speaker configurations.

Thanks to its wide frequency range of 8 Hz to 20 kHz, the DS 2000X4 can be used as a full-range amplifier. Depending on the system configuration, this allows it to drive, for example, woofers, midrange drivers, or high-performance full-range speakers. The four channels also allow for various stereo and multi-channel configurations.

For applications requiring higher power, two channels can be bridged at a time. In this operating mode, the amplifier delivers 2 x 1,000 watts RMS into a 4-ohm load. This means the DS 2000X4 can also be used, for example, to power two speakers or subwoofers capable of handling this power.

Built-in high-pass and low-pass filters, fixed at 90 Hz, make it easier to adapt to different speaker ranges. Despite its high total power output, the enclosure remains relatively compact at 268 x 72 x 245 mm.
