The Taramps BASS 400 2 Ohm is a compact monoblock amplifier designed specifically to drive subwoofers and deliver powerful reproduction of low frequencies. With an output power of 400 watts RMS into 2 ohms, it is ideal for small to medium-sized subwoofer systems that require a space-saving design combined with extensive adjustment options.

With its frequency response—tuned for the bass range from 8 to 250 Hz—the BASS 400 is entirely focused on low-frequency reproduction. A variable subsonic filter allows you to selectively limit particularly low frequencies, while the adjustable low-pass filter enables precise integration with the subwoofer system you’re using. In addition, a parametric bass boost is available, with a center frequency selectable between 35 and 55 Hz and a boost of up to +12 dB.

In addition to a standard RCA input, the amplifier also features a high-level input. This allows the BASS 400 to be integrated not only with aftermarket radios but also into many systems equipped with factory-installed radios or multimedia systems. Measuring just 134 x 40 x 138 mm, the amplifier requires very little installation space.
