The Rockford Fosgate R1S4-12 from the PRIME R1 series offers powerful bass reproduction, high-quality craftsmanship, and proven Rockford Fosgate technology at an attractive price-to-performance ratio. In developing the PRIME R1 subwoofers, proven design features from the larger Rockford Fosgate series were incorporated to enable reliable and dynamic low-frequency reproduction.

The 30 cm (12-inch) subwoofer features a reinforced paper cone, a durable foam surround, and a lightweight aluminum dust cap. The sturdy steel basket and the 51 mm voice coil mounted on an aluminum carrier ensure a robust design and reliable power handling. With 200 watts RMS, a 4-ohm voice coil, and a sensitivity of 90 dB, the R1S4-12 is ideal for high-performance in-car bass upgrades. The design is specifically optimized for sealed subwoofer enclosures but can also be used in tuned bass-reflex enclosures.
