With the Comfort Mat Tsunami 18 mm, you can specifically optimize the sound of your car speakers in areas where conventional aluminum-butyl mats reach their limits. This specially developed acoustic foam mat is applied as a second layer of insulation over existing vibration damping material and reduces unwanted sound reflections and standing waves inside the door cavity. The result is significantly more precise music reproduction with cleaner mids, more controlled bass, and less resonance.

Thanks to its water-resistant acoustic foam made from synthetic rubbers, the Tsunami is ideal for use in the wet areas of vehicle doors and wheel wells. The strong self-adhesive layer ensures a durable bond with the surface and enables professional acoustic optimization in car audio installations.

Quick Installation Guide

1. Remove the vehicle trim and thoroughly clean and degrease the surface to be covered with the film.
2. Apply a suitable vibration damping material (e.g., aluminum butyl) to the sheet metal as the first layer and press it down carefully with a pressure roller.
3. Next, cut the Comfort Mat Tsunami to size.
4. In cold weather, gently warm the mat with a heat gun or hair dryer to optimize its adhesive properties.
5. Remove the protective film, apply the mat to the first layer of insulation, and press it down evenly and firmly with a pressure roller.
6. Make sure that the entire surface is bonded without bubbles and that no moisture or dirt is trapped.
