Thanks to its modular design, the 9-inch SPH-EVO980DAB media center can be installed in vehicles where this was previously not possible. Modular media center with a 9-inch (23 cm) capacitive touchscreen and easy-to-use smartphone connectivity, including wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, as well as DAB/DAB+ digital radio, the CarAVAssist app, Waze, Bluetooth®, and a 13-band graphic equalizer.
The modular 9-inch media center SPH-EVO980DAB can be installed in many vehicle types as a “floating” version with a freely positionable display or as a “tablet” version, e.g., in standard 1-DIN and 2-DIN mounting slots, as a vehicle-specific version, or—thanks to its unique universal installation options—even in vehicles where it is not possible to install a conventional multimedia system in the dashboard.
Pioneer introduces two new, unique features of the SPH-EVO980DAB.
1. Pioneer Split Screen Mode, which allows you to view and control specific functions in an adjacent area of the screen by dynamically resizing the Apple CarPlay or Android Auto user interface.
2. Selectable display mode, which offers better readability by allowing you to switch the screen mode between “Light” and “Dark” depending on your preferences
