Musway MW1100A

The Musway MW1100A is a high-quality active subwoofer system designed specifically for space-saving installation in the rim well of a spare tire. As the successor to the successful MW1000A, the new model offers optimized operation, well-designed connection options, and impressively powerful bass reproduction in a particularly compact design.

Inside, a powerful 28 cm (11-inch) high-end subwoofer with a robust black stainless steel cone and a generously sized 76 mm voice coil is at work. The built-in Class A/B amplifier delivers 150 watts RMS or 300 watts of peak power and ensures dynamic, precise, and controlled deep bass.

The high-quality die-cast aluminum housing, together with the speaker basket, forms a sturdy unit. Thanks to the integrated center seal, the original mounting screw from the spare tire can be threaded directly through the housing. With a height of just 121 mm and a diameter of 360 mm, the MW1100A is suitable for many spare and emergency wheels with rim sizes of 15 inches or larger.

For convenient sound adjustment, all controls for the low-pass filter, subsonic filter, and bass boost are located directly on the top of the enclosure. A phase switch and the included compact bass-level remote control allow for custom tuning to match your existing sound system.

Thanks to its RCA and high-level inputs, the MW1100A can be connected to both aftermarket radios and a wide range of factory-installed audio systems. The automatic power-on function via the high-level inputs simplifies integration. A detachable, short-circuit-proof power connection also ensures practical handling, for example, when removing the spare tire.
