With the brand new ML series, MUSWAY introduces the affordable "offshoot" of the MG speakers. These are no less interesting, especially as many of the optimizing technologies from the expensive series have been adopted in the design. The main difference between the speakers is the use of cheaper steel baskets and less elaborately finished magnets. Those who can do without the expensive optical refinements, which tend to be invisible when installed, will get their money's worth with the ML systems.
This system offers a 16.5 cm bass/midrange driver with a robust steel basket. The 25 mm long excursion voice coil is perfectly cooled by the rear ventilation and the pole core hole and is also well suited for high levels. The powerful 13 ounce magnetic drive, which is protected by a rubber boot, also contributes to this. The 16.5 cm bass-midrange driver is equipped with an ultra-light, black anodized aluminium cone. Thanks to this high-quality and particularly lightweight material, the cone is practically deformation-free and achieves a very high level of efficiency.
The ML3M 7.5 cm midrange driver with its fast response has a long-fiber, specially coated paper cone which, together with the powerful drive unit, delivers an excellent frequency response from 200 Hz to 16 KHz.
The perfect complement in the treble range is the 25 mm ML6.2T neodymium tweeter with silk dome, which plays very linearly up to well above 25 kHz.
