The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

Rockford Fosgate M2 Color Optix™ Subwoofer with sealed enclosure
The Element Ready™ M2 Series subwoofers are designed to interface with the Rockford Fosgate Color Optix™ controller and RF Connect app via the integrated Deutsch™ and Amphenol™ connectors in the basket. Together with their IP67 certification, they make these speakers Element Ready™ speakers and truly designed for marine use. To complement the plug-and-play connectivity and simplified installation, the M2 subwoofers are equipped with a VersaSwitch™ that allows the impedance to be changed between 2 and 8 Ω simply by flipping a switch. This subwoofer is designed for use in small, closed designs where there is very little space for an enclosure. M2 offers a customized look by using the stainless steel grille or the white "Sport" grille insert.
