HiFonics ZXS12D2

The HiFonics ZXS12D2 from the ZEUS STREET series is a powerful 30 cm (12-inch) subwoofer that delivers impressive bass performance in both compact sealed enclosures and larger bass-reflex designs.

The specially coated, hand-made paper cone is designed to withstand high mechanical stresses. Combined with the double-stitched surround, it provides the stability needed to operate reliably even at high volume levels and under high pressure inside the enclosure.

A massive dual-magnet system with a total magnet weight of 98 ounces provides powerful drive. A generously sized 64-mm dual voice coil enables a high power handling capacity of 500 watts RMS. Pole piece holes and additional ventilation channels aid in heat dissipation.

Thanks to its 2+2-ohm dual voice coil, the ZXS12D2 offers flexible connection options for high-power mono power amplifiers. The sturdy steel basket and the distinctive blue magnet cover round out the design.
