HiFonics Zeus "Expansion" power amplifiers
The ZEUS E-Class expands the proven ZXR series with very modern, highly efficient Class D models. These "Expansion" power amplifiers impress with enormous power in particularly compact heat sinks. Even at their debut in Car & Hifi (issue 1/2025), they impressed the editorial team across the board - so much so that the series was awarded the prestigious title of PRODUCT OF THE YEAR 2025 award.
Anyone familiar with HiFonics power amplifiers knows that they are always equipped with state-of-the-art technology and sophisticated features. In high-quality systems with several components, however, certain functions such as high-level inputs are often not required. This gave rise to the idea of developing powerful monoblocks that are stable up to 1 Ohm and deliberately dispense with high-level inputs in favor of higher performance and efficiency.
HiFonics now offers three such ZXR/E models with bass level remote controls and outputs of 750, 1000 and 1500 watts RMS, which can also drive large subwoofers properly. Equipped with the latest Infineon® chipsets, they achieve extremely high efficiencies of up to 92%. They therefore consume less power and protect the vehicle electrical system. The ideal combination is a monoblock with the 8-channel DSP amplifier ZXR800/8DSP from the same design line, which has a 10-channel DSP with Bluetooth control. Connected via RCA/cinch, the ZXR/E monoblock provides the corresponding bass foundation.
