The HiFonics ZXO2 from the high-end ZEUS series are passive 12-dB crossovers for high-performance car audio speaker systems. They enable precise division of the audio signals between the low-midrange driver and the tweeter and are designed for both classic 2-way operation and expansion to a 3-way system.

One notable feature is the ability to switch flexibly between 2-way and 3-way operation. Using built-in jumpers, the crossover can be configured to accommodate the optional HiFonics ZXM3 midrange driver. This requires a corresponding bandpass crossover.

To allow for individual adjustment of the high-frequency range, the crossovers feature a three-step high-frequency level control. With settings of +3 dB, 0 dB, and -3 dB, the tweeters' output can be tailored to the acoustic conditions inside the vehicle.

The ZXO2 speakers are particularly well-suited for use with HiFonics ZEUS speaker components and provide a flexible foundation for high-quality 2-way and expandable 3-way sound systems.
