The HiFonics ZXE8S4 from the ZEUS EVOLUTION series is a powerful 20 cm (8-inch) subwoofer designed to deliver punchy, dynamic, and precise bass reproduction. With a power handling capacity of 200 watts RMS and 400 watts of peak power, it provides a solid foundation for compact and high-performance car audio bass systems.
At the heart of the subwoofer is a powerful Y35 magnetic drive with 40 ounces of magnet weight. The 50-mm voice coil, combined with the vented pole piece, ensures reliable heat dissipation and high power handling.
The hand-formed and coated paper cone impresses with its stability and excellent acoustic properties. A double-stitched foam surround ensures a durable connection between the diaphragm and the suspension. The robust steel basket provides additional stability, while the distinctive blue magnet protector and the blue-stitched diaphragm highlight the signature HiFonics ZEUS design.
Thanks to its tuned Thiele-Small parameters, the ZXE8S4 is suitable for both sealed subwoofer enclosures and bass-reflex designs. This makes it possible to create powerful bass solutions even in limited spaces.
