HiFonics Zeus Series
The ZEUS 2-way 16.5 cm compo system ZX6.2C was named test winner in the top class in the trade magazine Car&Hifi 1/2019 with great performance. The honeycomb composite cones and neodymium fabric tweeters, which are now also used in the ZEUS ZS systems, played a major role in the excellent sound reproduction. The three offshoots of the test winner ZX6.2C are available in basket sizes of 16.5, 13 and 10 cm. In addition to the high-quality sandwich cone from the ZX series, the same heavy-duty voice coils are used, which in the 16.5 cm top model ZS6.2E are even particularly generous at 30 mm. All ZEUS ZS compo speakers are equipped with removable magnetic boots and are supplied in pairs with a perforated grille set.
Another highlight of the ZS systems is the 25 mm fabric tweeter ZX6.2T with coupling volume. The tweeter, which is also known from the test-winning ZX6.2C set, does not have to be connected via a complex and large crossover as usual - the low natural resonance of the design allows the use of an installation-friendly 12dB cable crossover in conjunction with the honeycomb speakers. The result is a top sound image that will delight even the most demanding music lovers.
