The HiFonics ZRX12D2 from the high-performance ZEUS POWER ZRX series was developed for demanding car audio applications where high sound pressure, powerful low-frequency response, and a robust design are key.
The solid dual-magnet driver, combined with the generously sized 76-mm dual voice coil, ensures high power handling. The hand-formed, coated paper cone and the dual polycotton suspension allow for controlled cone movement even at high volume levels.
A particularly wide bead with a special ribbed structure reduces unwanted deformation during severe deflections. In addition, the double stitching of the bead enhances mechanical stability. The sturdy cast aluminum cage, rear ventilation, and core holes aid in heat dissipation and reduce compression effects.
With an RMS power handling capacity of 1,000 watts and a maximum power handling capacity of 2,000 watts, the ZRX12D2 is ideal for high-performance subwoofer systems designed to deliver deep, precise, and powerful bass.
