Wiring Wizard & Port Calculator

Use our wiring assistant for easy speaker and subwoofer connections! The correct connection is important for your amplifier! Low-impedance operation can damage the amplifier! The datasheet shows you which connection each amplifier is designed for!

Our port calculator shows you the tuning characteristics of your enclosure! The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the subwoofer’s actual resonant chamber volume beforehand to get the correct result. The net volume is calculated by subtracting all dead spaces and is crucial for enclosure design.

The
HiFonics ZEUS 120dB Aluminum-Butyl Damping Material was developed to effectively reduce disruptive vibrations, sheet metal resonance, and rattling noises in the vehicle. Careful damping is crucial—especially when installing high-quality car audio speakers and subwoofers—to unlock the system’s full sound potential.

Vehicle doors and body panels can be caused to vibrate in tandem with the vibrations of high-powered speakers. This results in unwanted background noise that detracts from the listening experience. The self-adhesive ZEUS 120dB AluButyl stabilizes the treated sheet metal surfaces and reduces disruptive resonances.

With a thickness of 1.8 mm, this sound-deadening material is suitable for a wide range of car audio applications and is recommended by the manufacturer for systems up to 120 dB. Thanks to its flexible nature, the material can be cut to size and adapted to fit various vehicle contours.

Properly installed insulation can improve bass response, reduce unwanted vibrations, and at the same time minimize road and tire noise.
