TITAN component systems with a powerful sound have a very long tradition in the HiFonics speaker range. The excellent sound quality and longevity have always been particularly appreciated, which also impresses with an outstanding price-performance ratio. But even in the world of sound technology, standing still is not an option. That's why HiFonics developers have given the models a complete makeover and combined them with innovative materials. The result is a sound that not only retains the audiophile charm of the Titan speakers, but even surpasses it in many details.
A significant contribution to the improved sound of the new TITAN TRX speakers is made by the new composite cones made of a MICA/paper mixture, which have proven to be superior in sound to the previous cones in many listening tests. Thanks to the ultra-light, very stable and excellently damping MICA cone composition, low and mid frequencies are always reproduced precisely and powerfully and distortion is minimized. The sound always remains neutral, clear and balanced. This means that every piece of music is reproduced in its full detail and dynamics.
Both TRX systems are equipped with high-quality crossovers that not only ensure precise separation of the tweeter and bass/midrange drivers, but also have a 3-stage tweeter level adjustment to enable optimum sound adjustment.
The new 25 mm TITAN TRX tweeter, which is also available separately in pairs, is now much more compact! The outer diameter is now only 49 instead of 61 mm; the installation diameter is only 44 instead of 53 mm. With its flat design and installation depth of just 9 mm, it fits easily into many original installation slots. If there is no factory installation space for the tweeter in the vehicle, the surface-mounted housing included in the scope of delivery can be used.
