The HiFonics MXZ12R from the MAXXIMUS series is a high-performance 30 cm (12-inch) enclosed subwoofer designed for high power handling and powerful low-frequency response.

The single bass-reflex system features a powerful magnetic drive, a sturdy cast aluminum basket, and a heavy-duty 76 mm (3-inch) voice coil. With a linear excursion of ±20 mm (Xmax), the subwoofer provides the conditions for high cone excursion and powerful bass reproduction.

The sturdy MDF enclosure provides the necessary stability at high volumes. The carbon-look front panel highlights the striking design of the MAXXIMUS series.

Thanks to its dual voice coil with 2 × 4 ohms, the MXZ12R can be flexibly adapted to different amplifier configurations. With an RMS power handling capacity of 1,000 watts, it is particularly well-suited for high-powered car audio systems.
