The MERCURYMR bandpass systems are part of a new generation of speakers that have been developed with a particular focus on good bass reproduction with high efficiency and compact dimensions. As the appearance was not to be neglected either, the woofers were given a chrome finish, which creates beautiful lighting effects, especially in the illuminated inner chambers, which can be switched between blue and white. The high-power bandpass speakers are equipped with powerful long-throw woofers that have been optimized for outputs of up to 600 W/RMS. The double bandpass system MR8DUAL is somewhat unusual. The enclosure is equipped with the FlexPort feature, which allows the reflex port to be opened either at the front or at the rear by means of a removable cover.
