Since a grandiose bass reproduction requires a lot of steam, it can sometimes be a little more. Professionals in SPL applications usually use power in excess of the kilowatt limit. The two new MERCURY EVO models from HiFonics meet precisely these requirements, as they can deliver up to 2000 watts RMS into one ohm. During development, particular emphasis was placed on high efficiency, which reaches an impressive 90% at full load into 4 ohms. This means that almost no energy is wasted and battery life benefits at the same time.
