The shallow installation depth of loudspeakers is becoming increasingly important for many applications, but shallow loudspeakers often sound rather thin due to the limited excursion in the bass range and represent a musical compromise. With the newly developed BRUTUS BRX series, HiFonics has succeeded brilliantly in changing this. Even the 2-way BRX6.2C system with a nominal dimension of 16.5 cm and an installation depth of just 42 mm not only fits into almost any opening, it also impresses with its excellent bass performance. This is primarily due to the completely newly developed carbon fiber cone, which is extremely stable and yet very light - a must, especially for flat loudspeakers. The 20 mm fabric neodymium tweeter is relieved of the low frequencies by means of a cable crossover. The compact design of the crossover also makes installation easy.
