The HERTZ ST 35K NEO was developed specifically for high-performance car audio and SPL applications that require high sound pressure levels, excellent impact, and precise high-frequency reproduction. Thanks to its highly efficient compression driver with a neodymium magnet system, it combines exceptional sensitivity with compact dimensions and low weight.
The specially developed horn geometry was optimized using finite element analysis (FEM) and ensures controlled sound radiation as well as high efficiency across the entire frequency range. The lightweight aluminum diaphragm enables fast transient response and delivers brilliant, dynamic highs even at high volume levels.
For maximum durability, a 35-mm CCAR (Copper Clad Aluminum Ribbon) voice coil is used, which offers excellent thermal stability and high mechanical strength. The robust design is complemented by an aluminum rear housing for improved heat dissipation, as well as a UV- and weather-resistant construction, making the ST 35K NEO suitable for use in motorcycles, off-road vehicles, or show cars.
The K version (kit) comes with a sturdy metal protective grille and an inline high-pass filter, making it particularly easy to install. With its exceptionally high sensitivity of 109 dB, the ST 35K NEO performs confidently even in very powerful sound systems and delivers brilliant high-frequency reproduction with impressive dynamics.
