Thanks to the proven V-Cone® cone geometry and Boundary Free Surround technology, the 165-mm mid-woofer delivers exceptionally uniform sound dispersion as well as precise and powerful midrange and bass performance. Even without an additional subwoofer, the system delivers impressive bass performance and high dynamic range.

For the high-frequency range, the system features the exclusive MP 28.3 PRO tweeter with a generously sized 28-mm voice coil and a high-quality Tetolon dome. The specially designed rear resonance chamber lowers the natural resonance to just 900 Hz and enables a particularly low crossover frequency. This results in an exceptionally homogeneous soundstage with finely resolved details, precise spatial imaging, and natural vocal reproduction.

The high-quality MPCX 165.3 crossover uses carefully selected components, such as pure copper voice coils and high-quality polyester capacitors, to ensure maximum signal purity. In addition, the switchable Hi-Contour feature and the three-step tweeter level adjustment allow for optimal tuning to the vehicle’s acoustics and personal sound preferences.
