The HERTZ MP 165.3 PRO was developed for discerning car audio enthusiasts who value precise midrange reproduction, powerful bass, and an exceptionally natural sound signature. As part of the renowned Mille PRO series, this 165-mm mid-bass driver combines state-of-the-art materials with a sophisticated design to deliver impressive performance even under challenging installation conditions.
The specially developed V-Cone® diaphragm ensures exceptionally uniform sound dispersion and clean reproduction in the midrange. This is supported by Boundary Free Surround technology, which increases the usable diaphragm excursion while simultaneously improving efficiency in the bass range. The result is a powerful, dynamic sound with astonishing low-frequency performance—even in vehicles without an additional subwoofer installed.
The 25-mm voice coil, made of pure copper on a heat-resistant polyamide carrier, ensures high power handling and low distortion even at higher volume levels. A powerful ferrite magnet with high flux density, combined with a low-resonance die-cast aluminum basket, ensures precise control, high dynamics, and long-term reliability.
