With the HERTZ MLK 165.3 LEGEND, Hertz presents a high-end 16.5 cm component system designed without compromise for discerning music lovers and SQ enthusiasts. The speakers in the Mille Legend series were designed to reproduce even the finest musical details with exceptional precision, dynamics, and natural sound.

The 165-mm low-midrange driver combines a paper cone reinforced with cotton fibers with proven V-Cone® technology and the Boundary Free Surround® surround. This design ensures exceptionally linear reproduction, high impulse response, and a powerful, controlled midrange and bass response. The torsionally rigid die-cast aluminum basket reduces resonance and ensures optimal ventilation of the voice coil.

The legendary ML 28.3 Legend tweeter, featuring a large 35-mm Tetolon dome system, is used for the high-frequency range. Its dual neodymium magnet structure, enlarged resonance chamber, and sophisticated FEA optimization enable exceptionally detailed, airy, and at the same time pleasantly natural high-frequency reproduction—even outside the ideal listening position.

The high-quality MLCX 165.3 crossover enables precise signal splitting and, in addition to three-stage treble adjustment, also offers the Hi-Contour function, which allows the crossover response to be optimally adapted to the installation location in the vehicle. As a result, the system achieves an impressively balanced soundstage regardless of the vehicle.
