The HERTZ ML 700.3 LEGEND was developed for uncompromising high-end car audio systems and impresses with exceptional detail resolution, natural vocal reproduction, and impressively precise soundstage imaging. As part of the renowned Mille Legend series, this 70-mm midrange driver is ideal for sophisticated 3-way systems and active operation with DSP.
At the heart of the speaker is a powerful neodymium driver that has been optimized using FEA simulations and delivers maximum dynamics with minimal distortion. The specially developed V-Cone® diaphragm, made of pressed cellulose with cotton fibers, ensures uniform sound dispersion, high rigidity, and a particularly natural reproduction of the entire midrange. The system is complemented by a CONEX centering spider, a low-resonance die-cast aluminum basket, and a Boundary-Free rubber surround, which increases the usable cone diameter and extends the frequency range.
The ML 700.3 LEGEND was developed specifically for use in high-end sound-quality systems and pairs perfectly with the HERTZ ML 1800.3 and ML 1650.3 woofers, as well as the ML 280.3 LEGEND tweeter. The result is an exceptionally spacious, finely detailed, and musical sound reproduction at a reference level.
