The HERTZ ML 280.3 LEGEND was developed for discerning car audio enthusiasts who expect the highest precision, rich detail, and exceptionally natural high-frequency reproduction. As part of the renowned Mille Legend series, this 35-mm tweeter combines state-of-the-art material technologies with extensive R&D to authentically reproduce even the finest musical nuances.

At the heart of the speaker is the specially developed Tetolon® dome, which—thanks to its low mass and high rigidity—delivers a particularly balanced sound with excellent resolution. A powerful neodymium magnet ensures high dynamics and precise impulse response, while the meticulously engineered resonance chamber lowers the natural resonance to just 900 Hz. This allows the tweeter to be used even at comparatively low crossover frequencies and ensures it pairs exceptionally well with high-quality midrange or low-midrange drivers.

The housing, machined from a solid block of aluminum, minimizes resonance and ensures maximum stability even at high volume levels. The design is complemented by a high-purity copper shorting ring to reduce distortion, as well as a front panel optimized via FEA simulation, which improves sound dispersion and ensures even high-frequency distribution throughout the vehicle. The result is an exceptionally spacious soundstage with impressive detail and natural musicality.
