HERTZ ML 1800.3 LEGEND

The HERTZ ML 1800.3 LEGEND was developed for discerning car audio enthusiasts who expect the highest sound fidelity, exceptional dynamics, and precise midbass. With its 180-mm driver, powerful neodymium magnet, and generously sized 50-mm voice coil, it combines tremendous power handling with an extremely controlled and natural sound reproduction.

The specially developed Boundary Free Surround technology increases the effective diaphragm area, thereby enabling a higher airflow and delivering more powerful and precise low and mid-bass. This is complemented by the proven V-Cone® cone geometry, which ensures uniform sound dispersion and exceptionally linear reproduction.

The lightweight, pressed paper cone with cotton fibers combines high rigidity with low weight. The result is fast transient response, a natural sound character, and outstanding detail resolution—even at high volumes. The meticulously optimized neodymium magnet and precision-machined pole pieces minimize distortion and ensure maximum control across the entire operating range.

The low-resonance die-cast aluminum basket with integrated rear ventilation improves cooling of the voice coil and ensures consistent performance even under high continuous loads. This makes the ML 1800.3 LEGEND suitable for both uncompromising high-fidelity systems and high-performance active multi-way systems, where precision and dynamics are equally important.
