Designed for the highest sound fidelity and exceptional dynamics, it combines state-of-the-art simulation techniques with high-quality materials and a design engineered for maximum precision. The result is a speaker that reproduces even the finest musical details with impressive naturalness while delivering powerful, controlled mids and a punchy midbass.
The powerful neodymium driver delivers tremendous magnetic force despite its light weight and enables excellent control over the diaphragm’s movement. The specially developed V-Cone® diaphragm, made of compressed cellulose with cotton fibers, operates with extremely low distortion even at high volume levels and ensures precise impulse response. The system is complemented by the Boundary Free IIR rubber surround, which increases the effective cone area and thus ensures particularly powerful and dynamic bass reproduction.
The generously sized 36-mm CCAW voice coil offers high thermal resistance and ensures consistent performance even during long listening sessions. The low-resonance die-cast aluminum basket with integrated ventilation reduces unwanted resonance while improving cooling of the voice coil.
