HERTZ C 165 L

The HERTZ C 165 L was developed for demanding car audio applications that require powerful and precise midrange and low-bass reproduction. Its water-repellent diaphragm made of unpressed paper ensures a particularly natural sound character and combines dynamics with controlled bass reproduction. At the same time, the long-throw 25-mm voice coil allows for a large excursion, ensuring clean, low-distortion playback even at higher volumes.

The powerful ferrite magnet with high magnetic flux density ensures precise control of the diaphragm’s movement and reduces distortion even under heavy load. The system is complemented by a low-resonance three-spoke basket and a damped magnet cover, which effectively minimize unwanted vibrations. As a result, the C 165 L is suitable both as a high-quality replacement for stock speakers and as a powerful low-midrange driver in custom-built 2-way systems.
