Heltec 6S Balancer with LCD Display

The Heltec 6S 5A Active Balancer is designed for active charge balancing within lithium battery packs consisting of six cells connected in series. Unlike passive balancers, which primarily convert excess energy into heat, this model uses capacitive energy transfer. Energy is transferred between the cells within the battery pack to compensate for existing voltage differences.

The balancer operates with the entire 6S battery pack and, depending on the existing voltage difference, achieves a balancing current of up to 5 A. As the voltage difference decreases, the balancing current also decreases. Balancing can begin with a cell voltage difference as low as approximately 0.01 V. 

The TFT-LCD display allows you to directly monitor both the individual cell voltages and the total voltage of the battery pack. The typical measurement accuracy at room temperature is approximately ±5 mV. The display also features a sleep/always-on function and allows you to switch the display orientation. 

The active balancer does not require a separate external power supply. The energy needed for balancing is drawn directly from the connected battery pack. It can also be used in parallel with an existing BMS or another balancer.
