Any speaker is only as good as the installation it’s given. With a professional installation, HELIX COMPOSE speakers can reach their full potential and deliver the ultimate music experience.
To ensure the speaker functions perfectly in an OEM installation, certain essential factors must be taken into account. These include the secure and tight installation of an adapter ring (FlexMount) as well as the acoustic sealing of the speaker off from the vehicle’s interior.
The CFR200 speaker gaskets are foam rings specifically designed for the HELIX COMPOSE speaker platform. They are self-adhesive and are applied to the FlexMount after the speaker has been installed. Thanks to their 25 mm height and exceptional flexibility combined with a strong seal, they adapt perfectly to the door panel installed afterward.
This ensures that sound is directed straight into the vehicle’s interior toward the listener.
The result: maximum sound level at the listening position, no acoustic cancellations due to leaks within the door, and less noise interference from the door panel.
