The HELIX COMPOSE i5 series is the link between the i7 and i3, created for discerning music lovers with an unbridled ambition for a true hi-fi experience. A fusion of phenomenal sound and unsurpassed practicality: developed with the vision of unique speaker highlights that are also true problem solvers. The impedances of all speakers are perfectly matched to our HELIX and MATCH amplifiers, guaranteeing maximum performance and power output at all times. In addition, we have implemented our COMPOSE-exclusive mechanical technologies, which offer unrivaled practical benefits.

Precise midrange for demanding multi-way systems
The Ci5 M80FM-S3 was developed as an audiophile midrange driver that enables exceptionally precise reproduction of the midrange in high-quality three-way systems. Its wide linear frequency range, high power handling and large linear diaphragm excursion make it ideal for applications where clarity, naturalness and dynamics at high levels are the focus.
Thanks to its significantly reduced outer diameter compared to conventional 80 mm drivers, the Ci5 M80FM-S3 also offers first-class integration options - e.g. in tight OEM installation spaces thanks to FlexMount technology, without having to compromise on diaphragm surface area. This makes it ideal for demanding multi-way systems, DSP-optimized setups or vehicles where precise midrange imaging and compact design are equally important.

Constructive sophistication for dynamics, efficiency and low distortion
The exceptional performance of the Ci5 M80FM-S3 is based on a sophisticated combination of material selection and mechanical design. The silicate-coated paper cone impresses with its high internal damping, remarkably impulse-true midrange reproduction and suppresses unwanted resonances. In conjunction with the innovative magnet system, the specially developed membrane surround, which is folded inwards in a complex manufacturing process, allows a large linear membrane excursion - a decisive factor for the high level stability and low-distortion reproduction, which allows the Ci5 M80FM-S3 to remain superior even at demanding volumes.
It also significantly reduces the outer diameter while simultaneously increasing the membrane surface area. The result is a compact design with maximum performance. The overall concept is complemented by an aluminium dust cap to optimize the upper mid-range and the powerful push-pull neodymium magnet system, which contributes significantly to the precise, dynamic sound characteristics of the Ci5 M80FM-S3 with its high efficiency and minimal distortion.

Maximum efficiency
HELIX COMPOSE stands for smart engineering and is therefore based on the highly efficient 3 Ohm technology, which harmonizes perfectly with all HELIX and MATCH amplifiers and at the same time enables a clearly noticeable increase in efficiency and maximum sound pressure.

High-tech polymer composite basket
The speaker basket of the Ci5 M80FM-S3 is made from a high-tech polymer composite material, which is additionally reinforced with glass spheres. The result: maximum stability with minimum natural resonance, whereby flux modulation of the magnet system is also excluded and there is also maximum resistance to thermal influences. Finally, the cage dimensions are much more compact, making installation easier in confined spaces.

FlexMount80 - Universal meets vehicle-specific
FlexMount is a mounting system based on specially developed adapter rings that allows COMPOSE FlexMount speakers to be installed in an almost infinite number of vehicles. In no time at all, the universal speaker is transformed into a vehicle-specific speaker, which can be easily installed in the original installation position of any vehicle with the matching FlexMount ring for optimized acoustics.

FlexConnect - A terminal for all situations
With the FlexConnect terminal, HELIX COMPOSE speakers can be easily connected directly to the vehicle's original wiring harness, so that the automotive standard of the plug connection is maintained and protection against polarity reversal is also guaranteed. Similar to our FlexMount system, vehicle-specific adapters are used here.

WireKits - Plug & Play at the highest level
Our WireKits make it easy to connect HELIX COMPOSE components to the original wiring harness or, if necessary, to connect the speakers to the crossover. Manufactured to the high standards of the automotive industry, these lockable adapter cables meet all the requirements for the harsh environmental conditions in vehicles.
