The Ground Zero GZW 10-30A is a high-quality 25-cm subwoofer designed for car audio systems that prioritize a controlled and sound-oriented bass foundation. With a 450-watt RMS power handling capacity, the driver is suitable for both high-end music systems and high-performance subwoofer solutions with ample headroom.

For the cone, Ground Zero uses a hand-formed and pressed paper construction. This material combines a comparatively low moving mass with the stability required for a subwoofer. A U-shaped foam surround allows for the necessary cone movement and supports controlled drive.

The GZW 10-30A derives its mechanical stability from its solid cast aluminum basket. The driver features a 50-mm copper voice coil, complemented by an aluminum short-circuit ring. An audiophile-grade Polycot centering system ensures precise guidance of the moving assembly. The carbon dust cap also adds a high-quality visual accent.

Thanks to its dual voice coil design with 2 × 2 ohms, the subwoofer offers flexible connection options for matching the subwoofer to the power amplifier. Depending on the wiring configuration, a total impedance of 1 ohm or 4 ohms can be achieved. Ground Zero recommends an amplifier power output between 300 and 600 watts RMS.
