The Ground Zero GZUW 8CF is a compact 20-cm subwoofer from the URANIUM series, designed specifically for precise and controlled bass reproduction. With a 300-watt RMS power handling capacity, a 2 × 2-ohm dual voice coil, and a long-throw driver, it is particularly well-suited for high-end car audio systems where not only volume but, above all, clean, musical reproduction is essential.

The pressed and coated paper diaphragm combines light weight with the stability required for controlled bass reproduction. A carbon dust cap complements the diaphragm design. A U-shaped foam surround and an audiophile Polycot centering ring are used for mechanical guidance.

The sturdy chassis is based on a cast aluminum basket. The driver features a 50-mm copper voice coil, while Klippel® optimization is designed to ensure the speaker’s behavior is as controlled as possible. With a maximum excursion of 20 mm, the GZUW 8CF offers excellent conditions for powerful bass reproduction despite its compact 20-cm size.

Thanks to its relatively shallow installation depth of just 108 mm, the subwoofer can be used even in tight spaces. Ground Zero recommends an amplifier power output between 200 and 400 watts. This makes the GZUW 8CF ideal for integration into high-end, sound-oriented car audio systems.
