GZTC 165.3X-ACT

The Ground Zero GZTC 165.3X-ACT from the TITANIUM Series is a high-quality 3-way component system designed specifically for fully active operation. This allows the individual speakers to be controlled separately via suitable amplifier channels and a DSP, and tuned to the vehicle and the desired sound characteristics.

A 165-mm driver with a textured HQPP diaphragm is used for the low-midrange. The three-dimensional diaphragm structure combines high stability with low weight, thereby creating ideal conditions for a controlled, dynamic soundstage. A durable rubber surround ensures smooth cone movement even at higher volume levels.

The compact GZTM 100NEO handles the important midrange. Thanks to its slim design, this midrange driver is particularly well-suited for demanding 3-way in-car installations where installation space is limited.

A 19-mm silk dome tweeter is responsible for reproducing high frequencies. The soft dome is designed to deliver detailed yet pleasant high-frequency reproduction and, together with the woofer and midrange driver, forms a full-fledged 3-way system.

Since this is the ACT version, the GZTC 165.3X-ACT is used for active control. Frequency division is therefore handled by a suitable DSP or an active crossover. This allows for particularly precise tuning of crossover frequencies, levels, delay times, and equalization for the individual speakers.
