The Ground Zero GZRW 8XSPL-D1 is a compact 20-cm SPL subwoofer from the RADIOACTIVE series that offers high power handling despite its small size. With 500 watts RMS and up to 1,000 watts SPL, it is particularly well-suited for performance-oriented car audio systems that require high bass output in a limited installation space.

The reinforced paper cone combines a small moving area with the stability required for powerful bass reproduction. A long-throw sandwich surround allows for large cone movements, while the Polycot centering system ensures controlled guidance of the suspension system. The driver has been Klippel®-optimized to ensure the most controlled operation possible, even at higher volume levels.

A 50-mm copper voice coil is used to ensure electrical power handling capability. Thanks to its 2 × 1-ohm dual voice coils, the GZRW 8XSPL-D1 offers flexible wiring options and can be operated, for example, in series at 2 ohms or in parallel at 0.5 ohms. This makes the subwoofer particularly well-suited for high-power mono power amplifiers with correspondingly low load stability.

The low-resonance steel basket provides a stable foundation for the entire suspension system. The design is complemented by a sturdy IMPP dust cover featuring a three-dimensional Ground Zero logo.
