The Ground Zero GZRM 80SQX is a compact 80-mm midrange driver from the RADIOACTIVE series, designed to deliver clean and detailed reproduction of the crucial midrange. With its anodized aluminum cone, it combines low moving mass with high stability, thereby creating ideal conditions for precise and controlled music reproduction.

For the driver, Ground Zero relies on a high-performance neodymium magnet. The compact design also makes installation easier in tight spaces. A 25-mm voice coil converts the audio signal and enables a power handling capacity of 50 watts RMS or 80 watts peak.

A distinctive feature of the SQX model is its low-resonance aluminum basket. It provides a stable foundation for the speaker system and reduces unwanted mechanical influences on the diaphragm’s movement. With an installation depth of just 37 mm, the GZRM 80SQX is particularly well-suited for high-end car audio installations where compact dimensions are essential.

With an impedance of 3 ohms, a sensitivity of 89 dB, and a specified frequency range of 140 Hz to 4 kHz, this midrange driver can be easily integrated into multi-way systems. It is connected via solder terminals. Matching protective grilles are also included.

The GZRM 80SQX is sold in pairs and is particularly well-suited for sound-oriented front speaker systems as well as custom-built 3-way and multi-way car hi-fi systems.
