GZPK 165SQ-C

The Ground Zero GZPK 165SQ-C is designed for high-end car audio systems that prioritize precise and controlled reproduction in the low- and mid-frequency ranges. The 165-mm bass/midrange driver comes from Ground Zero’s Plutonium series and combines high-quality materials with a drive design optimized for sound quality.

The diaphragm is made of ceramic-coated aluminum. The rigid construction provides a solid foundation for detailed and precise reproduction across a wide frequency range. For the driver, Ground Zero relies on a powerful neodymium-ferrite hybrid system, which, together with the lightweight 38-mm CCA voice coil, ensures controlled diaphragm movement.

The specially designed die-cast aluminum basket provides a stable base for the chassis and features a sophisticated ventilation system. At the same time, the speaker was optimized using the Klippel® measurement system. With a power handling capacity of 140 watts RMS and up to 200 watts peak, the GZPK 165SQ-C is particularly well-suited for high-quality, actively driven front systems paired with a correspondingly powerful power amplifier or DSP amplifier.

The high-quality design is also evident in the features: Gold-plated screw terminals ensure a secure speaker connection, while the chrome-plated magnet cover provides a clean finish for the driver. The package also includes the distinctive Ground Zero Hexagon-NRG protective grilles.
