The net volume is always particularly important here; calculate the pure chamber of the subwoofer beforehand to arrive at the correct result. The net volume is calculated minus all displacements and is important when designing the enclosure.

The Ground Zero GZNW 25C is a powerful 25-cm subwoofer from the Nuclear series, designed for demanding car audio and SPL applications. With a power handling capacity of 1,500 watts RMS and up to 3,000 watts SPL, the subwoofer offers enormous power reserves and is ideal for high-performance bass systems that require high volume levels and controlled low-frequency response.

The exceptionally sturdy carbon diaphragm, combined with the carbon dust cap, ensures high rigidity of the moving assembly. This allows the GZNW 25C to operate with precision even under high loads. To ensure the necessary mechanical stability, Ground Zero relies on a flow-optimized cast aluminum basket and a two-layer Polycot centering system.

A massive 75-mm copper voice coil provides the driving force and is designed to handle high electrical loads. Thanks to the 2 × 2-ohm dual voice coil, the subwoofer offers flexible wiring options and pairs perfectly with high-power mono amplifiers.

The GZNW 25C has been Klippel®-optimized to enhance the subwoofer’s mechanical and electrical performance under high excursion. With a maximum excursion of 45 mm, the compact 25-cm woofer offers very high headroom for performance-oriented bass installations.
