The Ground Zero GZNM 80SQ-K is a high-quality 80-mm midrange driver from the NUCLEAR series, designed specifically for precise and detailed music reproduction. Thanks to its lightweight Kevlar® cone, the midrange driver combines high rigidity with controlled vibration behavior—ideal conditions for clean and dynamic reproduction of the particularly important midrange.

For the driver, Ground Zero relies on a linearized neodymium magnet system combined with a 20-mm voice coil. This combination enables controlled cone movement and is ideal for demanding multi-way and active car audio systems. With a 70-watt RMS power handling capacity, a sensitivity of 88 dB, and a usable frequency range from 150 Hz to 4 kHz, the GZNM 80SQ-K can be flexibly combined with tweeters and woofers.

The sturdy die-cast aluminum basket provides a torsionally rigid base for the chassis and helps ensure low-resonance operation. Despite its high-performance design, the speaker requires only 39 mm of installation depth. This makes it suitable for installations where space is limited, such as behind door panels or in custom-made speaker mounts.

A gold-plated solder terminal ensures a durable and reliable electrical connection. The Hexagon-NRG protective grille, which matches the design, protects the diaphragm while also allowing for a visually appealing, exposed installation.

The GZNM 80SQ-K is therefore an interesting choice for sound-oriented car audio systems designed to reproduce vocals, instruments, and subtle musical details with precision and control.
