The Ground Zero GZIK 165SPL from the IRIDIUM series is a high-performance 165-mm low-midrange driver designed for car audio systems that require dynamic and high-volume playback. Its 3-ohm design allows for a comparatively high power handling capacity when paired with suitable amplifiers, making the speaker particularly well-suited for powerful front systems and custom SPL-oriented installations.

For the diaphragm, Ground Zero relies on HQPP with a three-dimensional structure. The design combines a stable diaphragm with a long-throw rubber surround, enabling controlled diaphragm movement even at higher volume levels. A 25-mm copper voice coil provides the drive, while a ferrite magnet system delivers the necessary driving force.

The sturdy, low-resonance steel basket features Euro-DIN mounting dimensions, making it easy to install in a wide range of vehicles as well as in custom door panels and speaker mounts. With a frequency response range of 60 Hz to 4,000 Hz, the GZIK 165SPL is designed for use as a low-midrange driver. A hexagonal protective grille is included to ensure a secure yet distinctive installation.
