The Ground Zero GZIF 6501FX is an ultra-slim 165-mm coaxial speaker system from the Iridium series. With an installation depth of just 44 mm, the system is ideal for vehicles where there is limited space behind the original speaker mount.

On the GZIF 6501FX, the low-midrange driver and tweeter are mounted on a common axis. This gives you an easy-to-install 2-way system that’s ideal for replacing stock car speakers, for example. The coated paper cone of the mid-bass driver is combined with a rubber surround, while a 13-mm Mylar tweeter handles the reproduction of high frequencies.

The low-resonance steel basket complies with Euro-DIN mounting dimensions, making it easy to use in a wide range of automotive applications. With a 4-ohm impedance, a sensitivity of 91 dB, and a power handling capacity of 70 watts RMS, the speaker system can be used with compatible car stereos as well as in combination with a separate power amplifier.

A built-in 6 dB/octave high-pass filter handles the filtering for the tweeter. Protective grilles are also included.
