The Ground Zero GZCT 28M-SPL is a high-performance 28-mm dome tweeter from the Competition Series, designed for demanding car audio installations that require clean and prominent high-frequency reproduction. Its lightweight Mylar dome combines a direct response with detailed sound reproduction and covers a frequency range up to 20 kHz.

For the driver, Ground Zero relies on a compact neodymium magnet. The 28-mm voice coil is ferrofluid-cooled, ensuring reliable heat dissipation at higher volume levels. With a power handling capacity of 80 watts RMS and 110 watts peak, the GZCT 28M-SPL offers sufficient power reserves for high-performance speaker systems.

The package includes a 12-dB/octave high-pass filter with a cutoff frequency of 5,500 Hz. This filter not only handles frequency separation but also protects the tweeter from unsuitable low frequencies. In addition, the system features a PTC protection component.

Thanks to its compact installation dimensions, the tweeter can be flexibly used in a variety of vehicle designs. A surface-mount bracket also allows for an alternative installation if a standard mounting location is not available. The GZCT 28M-SPL is sold as a pair.
