The Ground Zero GZCM 8.0XSPL is a high-performance 20-cm midrange driver from the Competition Series, designed specifically for high-sound-pressure-level applications. With a sensitivity of 95 dB, the speaker efficiently converts the amplifier power it receives into sound output, making it particularly well-suited for performance-oriented car audio and SPL systems.

The fiber-reinforced paper cone combines a low moving mass with the rigidity required for high power handling. In addition, the diaphragm is water-repellent and UV-resistant. This makes the GZCM 8.0XSPL suitable even for installation locations where the speakers may be exposed to harsher environmental conditions.

The driver features a powerful ferrite magnet system combined with a 30-mm CCA voice coil. The low-resonance steel basket provides a stable foundation for the moving parts. With an RMS power handling capacity of 170 watts and a maximum power handling capacity of 420 watts, the midrange driver is designed for high-performance speaker systems.

The usable frequency range of 120 Hz to 11 kHz enables exceptionally wide midrange reproduction. This means the GZCM 8.0XSPL can be combined, for example, with separate tweeters and corresponding subwoofers or kick bass speakers to create a powerful multi-way system
